Wallpaper is the perfect thing that can add personality to a room but it is still easily changeable as your children grow up and their interests change. The wall color or wallpaper completely sets the mood and theme of the room. It is also a cheaper alternative than buying new furniture and comforters every couple of years. So have fun, be creative, and don't be afraid to go crazy with wallpaper!

TAKE 2 TIP

A really fun alternative to wallpaper is painting with chalkboard paint. I absolutely love this idea! It gives children the opportunity to be creative and put their own art up on the wall. Now they have designated place to color on the walls.

CRAYON ART INITIAL

This is great because it is a fun way to get the kids involved in their own room decoration / design. It is super easy too- all you really need is a hot glue gun and some crayons.

This DIY I am super excited about. Ever since I had discovered Pinterest as a tiny 11 year old, all of my DIY and crafting master dreams had come true when I discovered this fun project.
